If High Waist Skinny Jeans make you think of your mom, why does Victoria Beckham have them in her collection?

High waist skinny jeans have as many fans as detractors.  Some think they flatter a woman’s naturally curvy figure.  Others say this style of skinny jeans make them think of their mom.  The rise on high wasted jeans is quite a bit higher than most other jeans.  They are anywhere from 7 1/2 inches to 9 inches.  There are many who believe that a woman has to be ultra thin to be able to pull off this look.  When you stop and consider that there are several famous ladies who have worn this look in the past, this may or may not be true.  Mischa Barton, Fergie and Jennifer Lopez have all worn these skinny jeans and not all of them are super skinny. High waist skinny jeans have become so popular that Victoria Beckham, along with Jbrand, has added them to her denim collection.  She recently launched her denim line and went around introducing herself to people, not assuming that they knew who she was.  She said they can be a bit difficult to pull up but in the end that “the fit is completely worth it.” Skinny jeans are her signature item, so it makes sense that she would include them in her denim line.  The great thing about skinny jeans is that because of the way they are designed they camouflage many figure flaws.  There are also other designers who have teamed with Jbrand to develop this style of skinny jean as well.  The pair you buy depends on what you like and what feels comfortable to you.
